This statement is not true. Once exhaustion sets in stress does not become manageable but rather the opposite happens. People who are exhausted or are on the brink of exhaustion cannot make proper and quick decisions anymore because the brain has become passive from the experience already. Exhaustion can be prevented if a person learns how to take short breaks in between heavy tasks that he/she is engaged in. If left for a longer period a person might result to have different diseases in the body because of the coping mechanism that the organ systems are triggering as a response to the stimulus.
