Blood is pumped through blood vessels all over our bodies because it carries the nutrients, mineral, and oxygen that every cell in our bodies need. It also carries out the metabolic waste away from its cell of origin. 

Blood vessel is a tube-like structure in our body like vein, artery, and capillary. It carries blood through the tissues and organs within the body.
