What is active listening? why is it used by parents?

a conscious victim is able to answer questions. she does not tend to go to sleep and can follow your eyes. she is lucid and she can talk.

a semi-conscious victim is not able to answer clearly or correctly the questions asked. she does not seem fully awake and lucid. it gives the impression that it may fade from one moment to the next and it can also appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

an unconscious victim does not respond and does not respond to words or pain.
