Why is it important that every staff member in a facility uses terminology consistently?

Terminologies are very important in certain facilities as it allows people to communicate clearly. It is direct and save people times in explaining certain subjects. However, for such communication to be effective, every staff member should be knowledgeable of such words. No two terms should mean alike and definitions should remain constant to avoid confusions.
