You'll write a scenario much like the one in Chapter 1, Lesson 3. You'll write as a PT who's performing a polysomnogram on a patient. Your doctor will diagnose the patient with apnea, and you'll educate the patient on the use of a CPAP or BiPap mask to solve their sleep problems. The assignment should not be less than 1,000 words. Parts of your scenario are:

working with the patient, including listening to the complaints and hooking up the sleep study technology; you should make sure the patient's complaints show some of the symptoms of apnea, based on your research;
diagnosis of apnea, including details on what apnea is and what causes it and including symptoms, measurements, and data observed during the sleep test; and
an explanation of common apnea treatments and how they work (CPAP and BiPAP), based on your research.
Things to keep in mind:

Do not plagiarize. Make sure your research is put into the scenario in your own words.
Creativity will be appreciated by your teacher. Details like "Patient's wife complains about snoring." shows that you understand the affliction.
When learning about apnea and CPAP/BiPap for this scenario, be sure to use authoritative sources, such as print encyclopedias, recent articles, or websites hosted by hospitals, universities, or organizations/associations. Include a simple works cited list.

Submit your 1000-word essay of patient diagnosis and treatment plan as a Polysomnographic Technologist.

Need this as soon as possible!!
