Unemployment is at an all-time high in South Africa and particularly within the
Youth. It is of outmost importance that we find innovative ways to either find a job
or even to obtain an income in a legal way. A final consequence or effect of
unemployment would be that people start resorting to crime and other measures
to gain an income. Part of the problem here is that we live in a materialistic society,
where there are discrepancies between wants". People often want (versus need)
but have no money because they have no jobs, and will therefore steal. If the
situation however is dire and needs are not being met, greater is the urge to steal
