Explain the problems of the diet according to the MyPlate recommendations. You can compare each meal to how the "plate" SHOULD look in taking note of what is missing.
Plan out 1 full day of meals and snacks for the person to follow and what important nutrients your meal plan will give him/her that was lacking.
Make recommendations and/or give tips on other healthy habits to begin or change (example - how to be more physically active, drink more water and less soda/caffeine, get more protein for building muscle, etc.)
Lastly - list any diseases he/she may be putting herself at risk for if he/she doesn't start to make the healthier changes you are prescribing.
