PLEASE I NEED HELP ASAP ACTIVITY: YOUR FAVORITE FOODS
Here are your goals for this lesson:

Record and report the vitamins and minerals found in three of your favorite foods.
Analyze which of your favorite foods is most beneficial to your health.

Analyzing the vitamin and mineral content of foods is an important step in developing good eating habits. Unfortunately, our favorite foods are not always the most nutritious foods. Foods that are processed or that contain high amounts of sugar tend to taste good but have few naturally occurring vitamins and minerals.

Record the information requested in the steps listed below in the REPORT document at the bottom of the page. Then answer the questions asked in the REPORT document.

Step 1: List three of your favorite foods. They can be fresh or packaged foods.

Step 2: For each food source, list the three most abundant vitamins and/or minerals.

Step 3: Using the chart in the lesson entitled "Vitamins," list the health benefits that correspond to the vitamins and/or minerals that your favorite foods contain.

Judging from your findings, which of your favorite foods is the most beneficial to your health, and why?
Do any of your favorite foods benefit the growth of bones and teeth? If so, which one(s)?
Do any of your favorite foods aid the growth of strong muscles? If so, which one(s)?
