Floyd Mayweather was born on February 24th 1977 in Michigan.He came from a family of champions so he was introduced to the gym very early in his lifetime.He found the ring to be his safe haven almost from his family.Early in his career he was known as pretty boy.He turned professional in 1996.He went to Ottawa hills high school but he dropped out in 12th grade to compete in the olympics so hopefully his family could have a better life. His father was right next to him the entire time,as his dad,manager and his trainer.His father inspired him to become a boxer.All his victories fueled his ego and he wanted to be the best fighter thats ever lived.His biggest success was being one of the best fighters in the world.His biggest disappointment was the Pacquiao fight.He made the headlines when he won a 12 round bout against Robbert Guerro in Las vegas,This fight made his record to an undefeated 44-0.During 2000s period he moved weight class in total of four times.HE took home the WBC titles home two times in 2012 and in 2016.Mayweathers family life was complicated to say the least,his father was an drug dealer with a temper and was taken to jail in 1993,in the same year mayweather won the golden glove.In 2010 he was one of the highest paid american athletes, he made 60 million in that year and it only went higher from then on.As he got more popular mayweather brought it to television,he even took center sage of the documentary called 24/7 then went to ABCś television Dancing with the stars.He retired in August 27th of 2017.
