1. Dominique's mother does not know why, but every time she
gets in her car, she has to light a cigarette. Every time she drinks
a cup of coffee, she feels the need to have a cigarette. Every time
she is about to go into the movie theatre or a store, she makes
sure she stops to have a cigarette first.
2. Nicholas started having just one cigarette after school with a
friend. After a few days, he found that he wanted two cigarettes.
Weeks later, he found that he was smoking four cigarettes from
the time he left school until the time he had to be home for
dinner

3. Aaron was out with his parents for the day and was not able to
have a cigarette. At first he started to get a little jittery. Then he
started to get a headache. By the end of the day he was so irritable
that his parents started to wonder what was bothering him.

mood hit her. One day she realized that she was smoking one
cigarette every three hours. If she didn't have a cigarette for a
long stretch of time, she began to develop cravings for one.
