The reason we warm up is to prepare the body for 1. We would normally warm up. for 5 minutes minimum but normally 5-10 minutes. When we are warming up we are getting the body ready - getting the 2 rate raised, getting the 3 pumping, and just getting the blood flow down to your 4 and loosening of the joints as well. 5 up can reduce muscle soreness after exercise and reduce the risk of injury.
Cooling down or 'warm down' allows gradual 6 to bring the body back to pre-exercise state. 7 down properly will remove 8 acid and the waste product build up from the exercise. Cooling down and 9 properly after exercise will help reduce the risk of being sore the next day. Stretching at the end of a workout is a great way to relax and 10___ flexibility.
