Secondary socialization refers to the process of learning what is the appropriate behaviour as a member of a smaller group within the larger society.Primary socialization is  the learning that takes place in the home(given by a child's parents and other caregivers). Secondary socialization is what is learned outside the home (in school , churches ,work e.t.c.)
