Maya is more likely to lean towards group of people that are quiet, and avoid drawing attention to themselves. She will steer away from places such as bars and clubs, where people are most likely drinking, smoking or using drugs. Although Maya tends to follow the crowd, (which in some cases could lead people to alcohol, drug or tobacco use, to fit in) her lack of self-confidence help her avoid the crowds where these are being used. For example, people generally like to get more dressed up than normal, if they’re going to a bar. Maya may not feel she was perhaps dressed up enough, or following the latest fashions, due to not being confident to begin with.
