The U. S. Department of Agriculture recently undertook the Community Nutrition Mapping Project (CNMap), that combines and aggregates food and nutrition indicators at geographic levels. CNMap was created to provide a snapshot of these indicators at the state and national level. Several parents in one Mississippi community saw the state's results and were very concerned about the recorded eating patterns as well as body weight indicators for children in the community. They decided to use the survey results to help implement modifications in both dietary choices and exercise programs within the local elementary and middle schools. Some changes must be made! Who should the parents share the survey results with in order to start the change process in these schools?
