Theresa Blake exhibits a pervasive pattern on extreme inability to act independently of her boyfriend, Roger. She is unable to take responsibility for her life choices and feels helpless when she is alone. Theresa will go to great lengths to avoid taking and/or assuming positions of responsibility and leadership in her job at the post office. Her indecision is much more extreme than just being indecisive or unable to decide what to have for lunch.
