The three planes are Sagittal plane, Horizontal plane and Transverse plane  

Sagittal Plane: Sagittal Plane is also known as longitudinal plane. it divides our body into right and left. It is anatomical boundary. It helps us sit -ups and biceps curl.

Horizontal Plane: Horizontal plane helps leaning from left to right in sideband and lateral raises. The sideways movement happens in this plane. this movement is known as abduction and adduction.

Transverse Plane: Transverse plane is divided into the top from the bottom. It is also call as axial plane
