Aresponder can protect himself/herself from radiation by using time as a response action. how is time used as a protective action? select one: the responder should allow sufficient time for the radiation to reduce in strength to 50% (half life). the theory of time as a response action is that radiation will diminish over a few days. the emergency response guidebook (erg) is good for the first 30 minutes of the release. the responder should limit the time near a source of radiation and leave the area as quickly as possible.
