Drug Abuse is more common with teens whose family members abuse drugs, because they are used to this scenario every day. If they have family that abuses drugs, than they would be more likely to see abusing drugs as a "normal" or "cool" thing.

It’s because they grow up in an environment that surrounds them with drugs and they eventually get use to it and it becomes a daily normal thing to them. Also, during your teen years you are going threw many changes and some might become “rebellious” and try new things. They might start with drugs since they are used to it and seeing if their family members are okay using then so will they.

Stay in school kids, and don’t do drugs.
