Can someone me. what's your opinion on administering treatment in order to record a reaction with the discomfort animals experience which is necessary to advance medical science?

I believe this is asking what I think in animal testing.

No, it's NOT nessecary. If testing is needed, a company can use willing human volunteers to test reactions, or fake skin. If you're wanting to see the reaction in humans, why would you test on animals? A good 90-95% of the outcome of animal tests isn't helpful in humans.
