This is a toughie, because all of the answers can be explained. I will put them all into perspective for you:

A.) I would most likely go with because if I were in this situation, with this knowledge I would realize that our teacher is telling us to study harder to do better than the Asian students.

B.) Putting the pressure on these students may make them perform worse, and if you are talking about health class, this can be linked to stress, which in situations may make you even perform better, but generally worse.

C.) I do not see this as being a reasonable answer at all, and I am very sorry if it is because I do not see any way this is legitimate.

D.) This may also be true, because it is just a statistic, and it will not affect directly how you perform, but then again it might not, because it will affect the students mind.

From what I see, I would go with A.).
