Explain the relationship between neglect and abuse

Neglection has to do with the ignorance of a certain person or subjevt. abuse has to do with the mistreatment of the certain person or subject

For example
A person being abused means doing something thats hurts a person that may be physical, emotional, or even sexual
And neglect happens when a child does not have shelter, clothing, medical care, protection
In other words abuse and neglect have the relationship of hurting/pain.
