What makes the sick role desirable to certain patients.

We can avoid unpleasant situations.

If I'm reading this question right... I believe that some people are attention seekers or display attention seeking behaviors because they like and/or need the attention in any way possible. If they are 'sick' then people have to show them attention. This is a mental health issue and the patient should be under the care of a psychologist or psychiatrist.

The person who utilize the progression principle will keep adding the difficulty of the exercise that he's doing, while the person who does not, will only stay stagnant.  the person that utilize progression principle, will get a stronger endurance because now his body is conditioned to do harsher routines.{the answer was already on verified)
