In evacuation of a healthcare setting, one must identify the disaster or situation that require evacuation like fire or calamity. Then, an emergency action coordinator must be designated to manage the facility and the emergency. 

A clear marked exits must be visible in multiple locations throughout the facility for easy access of the closest door out and a designated meeting place outside should be utilized to make sure everyone got out of the building safely.
