The Earth is the 3rd planet in the solar system and is orbiting around the sun.  The Earth's relationship with the sun is that it orbits around the sun and depends on the sun for warmth to keep all plants and animals inside the Earth alive. Also, the Earth's connection with the moon is that the moon orbits around the earth and the moon affects the tides in Earth through gravity.
