In 2011, face book and twiter helped contagiously diffuse "The Arab Spring", also known as the jasmine revolution, across north Africa (Maghreb) and the middle east because a certain government took a fruit and vegetable vendor's cart from him because he didn't have the proper permit on his person. In an overtly emotional and desperate response, the fruit vendor committed an act of self-immolation in front of a government building. Once the news of this tragic event contagiously diffused on social media, it set the Arab world on fire in an emotional cauldron of anger and rage for a commoner to be treated so poorly by a dictatorial government. That said, what country did the Arab spring begin, what country did the Arab spring not take hold, and what country spiraled into an apocalyptic civil war that is still going on today, even though it has slowed down.
A. Western Sahara, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia
B. Algeria, Libya, and Jordan
C. Sudan, Yemen, and Iran
D. Tunisia, Oman, and Syria
E. Morocco, Lebanon, and Turkey
