Nuclear plants are able to produce enormous amounts of energy and not just that, but unlike fossil fuels, they are much more environmentally friendly because the pollution from them is very low. There are some negative aspects though, and those are used by the opponents of this type of production of energy. The biggest arguments against nuclear plants are the disposal of used nuclear fuel which is highly dangerous because it is highly radioactive, and the security of the plants. The security of the plants is the biggest concern because only one nuclear plant can cause enormous damage to a very big area if something goes wrong with it, and a good example of this is Chernobyl.
