This grassland is located on the African Continent. This region has a dry season and a wet season each year. The average temperature of the region places it in a tropical climate.
Grassland ecosystems are vast grassland regions with a few trees dotting the landscape. The popular species here is the acacia. It has small leaves and sometimes thorns. This landscape supports herds of herbivores such as antelope, zebra and wildebeest. The herbivores attract large carnivores such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.
