They could use biofuels, wind, solar, etc. There are many ways of running a farm you could do it the old fashioned way or you could take a step into modern farming practices. The renewable energy source I will be talking about in this essay will be solar energy. Solar energy is energy used by the sun. Solar energy can be used in many different ways with agriculture. These ways are saving money, an increase of self reliance, and reducing pollution. Solar heat collectors can be used to dry crops and warm homes, livestock buildings, and greenhouses. Also solar water heaters can provide hot water for dairy operations, pen cleaning, and homes. As you can see from all these examples solar energy is very useful in the agriculture industry. It may be expensive at first but in the end it saves a lot of money.
