The country India has a diverse type of environment and is characterized by the agrarian economy and has relied on the heavy use HYV and chemical fertilizers.  The rise of the industrialization and urbanization has created drastic changes in the ecological environment of the country as a result of this more of pollution an harmful gases are being generated and increase of the vehicular traffic and congestion. Order to benefit form this various initiatives are the Ganges river valley project, water harvesting project, cleanliness drives in the local and national levels and its effects are seen in terms of the daily hygienic regimes followed by the people in keeping them safe and clean. Recycling of the polythene has led to the removal of  harmful substances
