The U.S. is referred to as a "melting pot" because of the different races, religions, and ethnicity. Caucasians, Africans, Asians, Mexicans and more live in America with little to no discrimination. Everybody can believe what they want, there is no forced religion, nor law on religion. Then the U.S. celebrates holidays across the world, from Cinco De Mayo to Easter to Oktoberfest.
