Iasked if majority rule (where people vote and those votes translate into policy outcomes) was capable of dealing with current environmental problems. now we come full circle. given what you know about the political system, our attempts (both successes and failures) to adopt policy that solve environmental problems, and current/future environmental problems, can our system adequately respond to these challenges? if so, how and what evidence do you have to support this conclusion? if not, then what systemic changes would you recommend?
