How is the death of a very large star different from the death of smaller stars?

A large star death creates a supernova and that of the small dwarf is created by the death of the small star.

Explanation:

A supernova is associated with the explosion of a large and massive star and is an evolutionary stage of the massive star, that is triggered by the runaway nuclear fusion and most directly observed supernova is a milky way and is classified as according to there light curves and there absorption lines curves. The white dwarf os the stellar core remnants of the degenerated dwarf that composed of the electron degenerate matter. It is very dense and has am mass as compared to that of the sun and has a volume that of the earth and has a light that is emitted from the emission of the thermal energy.

When stars get old and in the later stages of their lives, the smaller stars turn into red giants which fuse helium into the carbon and oxygen and then they die as white dwarfs whereas the large stars turn into supergiants and they have a tendency to produce iron through fusion

Fission stops when a major part of the core is the supergiant is entirely iron and that leads to the collapse of the core and because of that violent rebound explosion takes place which in simple words is known as 'Supernova'. All the stars generate energy from the process of nuclear fusion and then the plentiful supply of hydrogen gas in the star crushes at high pressure and then it gets to heat at high temperature and that leads to the forging of heavy elements such as Helium and carbon. Supply of hydrogen in a star is not limitless but eventually stars will come to an end.

Most of the massive stars burn through the fuel at a constant speed and that was according to the astronomical standards. On the other hand, Smaller stars like the sun have a life of around 10 billion years. Most of the stars have a gentle ending but the star which is the largest among all will have an explosive ending.
