Intergovernmental revenues are generally intended for education and child welfare.

Intergovernmental revenue is the monies from other government departments which may be in terms of grants and contingent loans advances. Money can be from state to local government or form federal governments to states.  

Some sectors such as education for the elementary and secondary level may get money from all other departments as it has been the case before. The funds are split for the purpose to finance public welfare and education which have been receiving more money than other departments.

Other categories include transportation, health, and others.
