0 = 2x^2 - x^2 - 16x + 4x - 16 + 43                  Collect like terms.
0 = x^2 - 12x + 27                                            This factors
(x - 3) * (x - 9)  = 0

x - 3 = 0
x = 3        or
x - 9 = 0
