How is a tropical wet climate similar to a tropical wet-and-dry climate? how are they different?

Tropical wet climates are characterized by long terms of rain and humidity percentages throughout the year. They hold many different kinds of flora and fauna, due to the high amount of water available for them to grow and survive. These are mostly located in countries closer to the "tropics" and also, usually at a higher sea level.

A tropical wet-and-dry climate is similar to the tropical wet climate, since the amount of water and rain is high, but being at a lower sea level, it makes it less humid than the wet climates. The amount of rain during the year is not as high as the wet climates, and it is some kind of an "in between" climate that many species look for to raise their offsprings.
