Sally was visiting france and on a tour with one of her friends that live in paris. her friend, chloe bumped in the someone she must have known and they started talking. sally wanted to ask them is they were friends and how they meet but she forget how to say it it french. how do you say, hi my name is sally, are you friends with chloe in french

How do you write i/he/she went to *blank location* in past tense in french? like. how do i say something like i went outside yesterday, or my friend went to the store yesterday? i really want to understand this, but none of the websites i use are really doing a good job at explaining it
