If the verb ends with “er”, it turns into “é”. if the verb ends with “re”, it turns into “u” if the verb ends with “ir”, it turns to “i”. correct me if i’m wrong, this is passé composé, and i’m trying to figure out if i’m doing it correctly.

Le passé composé se forme avec l'auxiliaire "être" ou "avoir", au présent, suivi du participe passé du verbe à conjuguer.

Il y a  différentes formes du participe passé :

-é pour les verbes du 1er groupe

Exemple : Vous avez joué.

-i pour les verbes du 2e groupe :

Exemple : J’ai fini.

Et :

-i, -u, -is, -it, -int, -rt pour les verbes du 3e groupe
