Hi here’s something that can with your question,throughout the speech , anthony kept repeating the question “are women being persons ,then women are citizens , and no state has a right to make any new law , or to enforce any old law which shall abridge thier privileges or immunity’s it the readers remember the real problem at hand - why are women treated differently from men ? this the purpose by coming back to the question why do men have the right to vote and women don’t . this keeps the reader thinking and coming back to the purpose of her speech .anthony has to use higher level vocabulary to make her audience believe what she is saying to her look more educated like men .language anthony uses many examples from different sources to show she was allowed to use her citizen rights . “nor shall any state deprive any persons of life liberty, or property without due process of law , or deny any persons within its jurisdiction th equal protection of laws “ this develop the purpose by providing facts from well known sources rather then using her personal opinions.her purpose was to prove she made no crime in voting ; she was simply use her citizen rights.
