Develop a multimedia presentation that summarizes the thesis and main points of your research.

The typical way to create a multimedia presentation is use PowerPoint as the foundation.  However, multimedia goes beyond just the medium of PowerPoint.  As the “multi” suggests, you will want to include something other than just the standard slides such as a video insert/link, some sort of animation, and maybe even your voice providing extra details to reinforce the content on each slide.  The reason for this is because a multimedia presentation should be able to stand on its own without you as a speaker/presenter of the information.  The easiest, most common thing to do is to just record your voice as a voiceover for each slide and record yourself speaking as if you were actually giving the presentation in person.  For each slide, however, don’t provide too much information as the voiceover (if that is the thing you choose to do) should fill in the gaps of what is presented on each slide.  Remember that people don’t like to be read to from PowerPoint slides/presentations.
