When approaching a research paper, it is a good idea to focus on a topic that is not too vague/general or broad.  When writing papers, it is best to focus on something specific because one, feasibly, can never write about everything.  As such, when we look at the first three possible topics it can be seen that there can potentially be a myriad of possible responses that would make it difficult for the writer to provide enough detail and provide a focused, well-developed paper because, too, much would go unanswered or unaddressed.  However, the last response, item “D,” is specific enough to where only two authors are mentioned and only two aspects—their lives and writings—will be discussed.  Thus, the question in response “D” would be most manageable.
