This Robert Frost poem is a narrative of a woman who tells about her visit to a camp near her house. Tired of the daily work, she wants to meet someone new and the one who came from somewhere else is interesting for her. She talks about her mental illness, her daily life, namely cooking and cleaning. The poem is concluded by woman's wish to the camper in which she doesn't want her to leave that early. Two major issues, mental illness and rural life has been brought to the light in the poem. The stranger is a new thing, new life for her. She wants to talk about her life with the stranger and may be she just wants to unload her life burden.
