One of the prominent characters of this play would be the Nurse who had been Juliet's 'mother', taking care of her since she's been born. She seems more motherly than her real mother, Lady Capulet. This exchange between Lady Capulet and the Nurse in Act I scene iii shows the humorous side, the comic figure of the nurse.
