The main goal of persuasive writing is to influence your audience by means of your ideas and reasoning. There are three strategies where you can achieve it: ethos, pathos, and logos.Ethos means ethics or morality. This approach shows the readers your good intentions. You may show you are credibly by showing how depth is your understanding of the topic. Next is Pathos. Pathos is where you leave an impression on the reader’s emotion. This is where you present an argument without any reason but purely because of your emotions only. Lastly, logos. Logos is the opposite of Pathos. It literally means logic. Here, you present an argument based on rationality and reasoning. You’d be able to pull off a good argument if you used these three strategies.We also use rhetorical devices in writing to raise its persuasiveness.
