At the end of ''the drive-in movies,'' the narrator falls asleep. explain how he might feel about all his hard work when he wakes up. does he think it was worth it?

Unfortunately for the narrator, he was so tired from all his cleaning, that he fell asleep within twenty minutes of the start of the movie. He missed seeing most of the movie but he did please his mother, and this is something that she will not forget, and will have positive benefits for the narrator in the future.  Gary’s hard work was more important that the reward he received and he will always remember fondly falling asleep at the movies, but he will also remember even more his efforts on that hot summer day to earn his night at the drive-ins.
