Write an essay of at least 150 words explaining why napoleon was successful in chasing snowball off the farm so quickly and why the other animals did not stop it from happening. (animal farm)

Napoleon had been very sly from the outset. It is clear from the differences in opinion between him and Snowball that he saw him as a threat. When snowball had developed plans for the building of a windmill Napoleon rejected the idea from the outset and showed his disdain by urinating on Snowball's plans. Frightful the animals would vote in Snowball's favor over his own, Napoleon made an unfamiliar noise and the dogs ran Snowball away.The moment the dogs ran Snowball away was the moment in which Napoleon displayed his might and would mark the beginning of his tyranny. The other animals didn't stop it from happening because they thought of Napoleon as all-knowing and as their leader, and he came up with a quick excuse that Snowball was a traitor who the animals should never have trusted. In the end Snowball wanted what was best for the animals while Napoleon only wanted what was best for himself.
