My super heros motive wouldbe to end humans destroying earth and giving others mental problems. Because I think all that matters is to make sure earth and people live a longer happier life and so that earth will once and for all be stable and a better place for all.

I would think the most common one would be wanting to help others, it could also be wanting justice, using them for self defense, patriotic duty ( meaning he/she/they loves their country and feels loyal towards it), rebellion, protecting their loved ones, or maybe even because it's their job.
