PLs review it for me!! The Cursed Clock
7 Prologue: A long time ago, the earth was peaceful and calm. The clear water would splash all day, making the sun gleam very bright. The waterfall would provide fresh and clean water. There is always a so-called perfect temperature. Everything was peaceful. Everything was perfect. Nothing was wrong. Nevenda, the Time keeper, and Sevenda, the 16th Goblin, we’re sisters, they always have been. They were born sisters. One day, when the earth seemed a little off, a terrible and long fight happened between these two sisters. No one would win. Nenvenda had a plan. She did something. Something. That defeated Sevenda. After that, Nevenda gave Senvenda her taste of her own medicine. As Nevenda worked herself to greatness, she put Sevenda into the dungeons. Created many powerful weapons, and helped many people. Little did she know, Sevenda was going to get revenge. Partnering up with Forlorn the sad kid and the 12th goblin, they used the Key of Destiny. Nevenda was defeated by Forlorn and Sevenda. Even though Nevenda was defeated, people still recognized her as a “hero." What happened to Nevenda?. After the Key of Destiny destroyed her, she had to give up her timekeeper role, which made the time mess up. Time has always been messed up. There has not been time at all. Just no time. Tick, Tick, Tick. There would be none of those. Day and night. There would be nothing of that sort the time is stuck, the weather too. In fact it seems like time will never heal, unless…

Chapter One (Toothpaste does not taste amazing)

Every Morning is a cold, sunny day. Nothing would ever change. Just Never. The weather would always be cold and sunny. The time would always be something called “It does not work”. Inside The kingdom of Su, you could see that one house. The house that is perched on top of the purple and pink tree. The leaves on the tree would always cover the windows, yet every day pink snowflakes would stick on the windows, just waiting patiently for it to be melted with the roaring fire. Inside a room of the little house, Linavigua (Lina-Vi-Gua) grabbed her toothpaste and toothbrush. Time to eat. Wait- no. It’s time to brush some teeth. Wait-no. There is no time. So confusing. Well, it’s time to use some magic. Wait-no. It is time to use some multitasking! but there is no time. So confusing. Lina or Luviga (Linavigua's nicknames but she prefers Luviga)grabbed her toothbrush, squeezing some toothpaste on there. Then she ran down the stairs. Clomp, Clomp, Clomp. Wait-no, that was for breakfast. She grabbed the first thing she saw. A milk jug which was sitting on the table. Really, the milk jug had legs and was sitting on the table. “Well I guess it’s time for some breakfast.”. Drinking milk on one side of her mouth while she brushed the other side- that’s indeed called multitasking. Suddenly, she spit everything out. “Disgusting” she yelled. “Toothpaste doesn't taste amazing”.

Chapter Two:(Too much work)

EXPOSITION: There is always this one time in life. Just One time. One time, when there is just too much work to be done. Luviga has been hopping around ever since she got admitted to the best school. Wait-no. Not just the best school, the best Magic school. Wait-No. The best Magic and academics school on earth. There were tasks to do. Many tasks. Boranga (Luviga’s Mom, only that she likes to call her Boranga because she is not her mom, technically she is adopted) had made her a list. Just a list. A list that should not be lost or stolen (the fact that it will get her prepared). The list was long. Extending 18 feet. It was also very dusty. Very. In fact, she had to get it all done in the morning. Wait-no. There is no morning. There is just a very cold sunny day out. Always. There was no weather anyways. She read the list. “Morning Routine”. Brush Teeth. Eat Breakfast. Simple, she thought. One time tasting toothpaste is enough. No more multitasking for now. Like a normal person, she grabbed her toothpaste and toothbrush and brushed her teeth. It was a very long and tedious process. She sighed. Multitasking was more fun and quick.

The major was a little man with upturned mustaches. he had been in the war in libya and wore two wound-stripes. he said that if the thing went well he would see that i was decorated. i said i hoped it would go well but that he was too kind. i asked him if there was a big dugout where the drivers could stay and he sent a soldier to show me. i went with him and found the dugout, which was very good. the drivers were with it and i left them there. what effect does hemingway’s limited use of adjectives have? it slows down the narration by interrupting the action. it makes the few descriptive words he does use more vivid and forceful. it makes the narrator seem powerless and insincere. it prevents the readers from filling in the details with their own experiences.

Read the excerpt from ernest hemingway’s “soldier's home.” his father was in the real estate business and always wanted the car to be at his command when he required it to take clients out into the country to show them a piece of farm property. the car always stood outside the first national bank building where his father had an office on the second floor. now, after the war, it was still the same car. nothing was changed in the town except that the young girls had grown up. how does hemingway’s description of the town as unchanged impact the readers’ perception of krebs? it emphasizes that while the town has remained the same, krebs has changed. it illustrates that krebs despises the town he grew up in because it is boring. it demonstrates that krebs views himself as similar to the other soldiers from his town. it reveals that krebs is jealous of those who were able to stay in town and avoid the war.
