Read It! A big ice shelf has broken in two. The shelf had been in one piece for 3,000 years! Now, scientists are trying to find out why it split. Scientists know that the air has been warmer. This made the ice thinner. Scientists are studying why the air is getting warmer. They think that it could be because of the dirt that is put into the air. However, they need to know more. For now, scientists will watch the temperature. They will see if it stays warm, or if it starts to cool down again.
