America could be greener. Yes most individuals recycle,
but America is still a wasteful nation. For example,
restaurants especially fast-food establishments could
provide dearly marked recycling bins for customers to
separate their trash. Many plastic cups utensils and other
materials could be thoroughly washed and reused. Retail
outlets could enact a policy that requires customers to bring
their own reusable bags or pay to purchase one at
checkout. That way bags get reused over and over.
