On the day of her twentieth high school reunion, Danielle Hartman walked confidently into the old school gym. She had never attended a reunion before, but she was ready. She spotted someone she thought was Elaine Madison across the room and began to walk towards her. As she got to the door leading to the kitchen, she looked down at the floor. Suddenly she was 14 years old again and she could hear the principal yelling at her. “You’ll never amount to anything, Miss Hartman, now that you’ve done this!” Dizzy and confused, Danielle regained herself and turned and walked quickly out of the gym. There she ran straight into the very man who had once yelled at her.
